I'm pretty certain about York, Durham and Royal Holloway right now. Since I posted that I read on TSR's English Degree wiki page that Edinburgh wants BBB which is quite appealing. I only want to apply to places that I'd be 100% comfortable at rather than simply good courses, which makes picking place even more difficult.

That sounds like a good plan , I've applied to Durham too- for history though

Last year, I got mine in January so it will be probably around the same time this year. Cambridge interview is enough (if I get it of course) and I will worry about my exams later.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the interview! :yep:

Ah, nice! I think it'll be St John's  I don't really like it at Durham but I might as well apply, I might change my mind!

So true, so true, I keep obsessively checking even though I know it'll be futile this early

I have two maths on the same day, and my Year 11 Summer was the worst

Your June is what I have  and you had January exams so less exams. I have 13

But maths is maths  true

Feel so sorry for your year, all exams in one season

And you still managed those great grades! You're probably more prepared this time around so there's a positive to it

I know :frown: I'd have happily done all the science unit 1s this January.

My exam dates are pretty good, quite spread out unlike last year when I had a week of hell :unimpressed:

Biology 6BIO1: 21st May 2014, morning.

History 6HI03: 2nd June 2014, morning.

English Literature LITB3: 6th June 2014, morning.

Biology 6BIO4: 13th June 2014, afternoon.

Biology 6BIO5: 20th June 2014, morning.

Only 5 exams? You're soo fortunate!
Here is my timetable. Thank god it's not like last year with 3 exams on one day. There's only 1 clash and it's with S1 which shouldn't be too much trouble. Also doing STEP 1 - 20th June and possibly STEP 2, don't need it for my offer but might just do it to strengthen my maths all together.
From the discussion on here, it seems 16 exams is unusual

Tbh it was the best thing for me as it served as kind of a wake up call

Yeah! I suppose I am

Obviously I have horrible coursework in english lit and history because I only have one exam in both, but if I try and aim for full marks in them, it'll make summer a hell of a lot easier

Yeah, I guess so. For me it'd just be getting things out the way because I can perform the same whether it's now or then because we'll have finished content by then anyway.

Here's mine.

Not happy with that :erm:

I thought you were with me on AQA maths? Or was that just at your other school?

That was the other college, it's changed again.
How much work are you lot currently doing outside of lessons?
