I've developed using Java in Eclipse for Android devices, which was fun and very easy! The UI is great and Eclipse really helps out!

Been meaning to use Cocoa and start developing for Apple but part me cba with Xcode and all that shiz.

Currently in the process of creating my first Android app. Posted about it in one of the other threads on here.

Its called Student Budget. An app to help students with their finances to make sure they don't spend more money than they have

The user enters their incomes and expenses, using this a weekly balance is calculated to see if your spending more money than you have. Each income / expense can be altered to suit every user (eg. Wages can be either weekly/monthly/ yearly)

Currently working on a new feature. It'll allow users to enter upcoming payments and choose whether or not they want a reminder for these payments. If they don't want a reminder they can just check their upcoming payments on my app from time to time.

Got a couple of other things to done once I finish that feature.

Its currently at alpha testing stage though it doesn't have the upcoming payments feature but it's a working version of the app.

Doubt it'll be ready for Sept 1st. Bit of a delay in development, stuck with my code and haven't been able to get it fixed. Got to change the layout and redo graphics.

Update on this:

Currently in Alpha Testing phase. Noticed a couple of bugs and have fixed them, unsure about one of the bugs because it's related to phone screen size (text appearing in a line where it shouldn't appear). Considering changing the layout to a couple of screens but think I might save that for a future update.

Payments screen looks a little bit different now but it's just a minor difference.

Should be going into Beta by the end of the week and will be eventually available to everyone in the UK and Ireland to download. Think I'll be keeping it in Beta stage until I'm ready to release it world-wide. Got a number of features that I'm considering doing for the future.

Though I don't think I'll be making these features unless it becomes successful and gets quite a lot of downloads in the UK.

Someone needs to make a Sims/Sim City type game for Android

One where you pay for it (£5 or whatever) and that's it. I hate these free2play games where you have to either spend £100 or wait 10 hours every time you do something

Funny, it works fine on my Note 3 on Jelly Bean.

Never worked on my Galaxy Tab or my One S, but now you mentioned it I just downloaded it on my Nexus 4 and after an authorisation error it did load, but then it keeps freezing completely (with the Adreno cache)
