In what world does it make sense to get tuition from someone who merely did two AS-level stats units and passed them nearly 10 years ago, and has done no maths since, other than to patronise people over the internet, instead of a mathematician who is actually paid to co-teach maths in a local school?

I am TERRIBLE at teaching maths beyond GCSE

AND WEREN'T YOU RETAKING C3 OR C4 I FORGOT WHICH ONE IT WAS JUST LIKE I FORGOT TO TURN CAPS LOCK OFF ON MY IPOD

Aah, I see :ahee:

How come a state school taught those though?

Italian GCSE may actually come to fruition... turns out one of my friends decided to do Italian GCSE and actually got a tutor, so I told him if he was to do the GCSE I would too. (Y)

But the question is...are there any Italians up there in NE whose "mozziconis" you could kick in the GCSE?
Achieving regional top 10 in a language that's not your native is quite magnificento

I was going to retake C3 and C4, but then I realised that time constraints meant picking between the internet and doing revision for a couple of maths exams, when I already have the A-level.

I chose the internet.

It's really easy  You don't need to know the cases (though you should learn them really); I A*'d it through intuition

*cross with self for not asking a tutor to organise private candidacy while I still understood Latin*

And not in question form :mmm: it's all good. I've spoken to him!
Hmmm certain people on TSR think it's a good idea to introduce Thati "S'ill vous Plâit" Tootoo to the Romance branch of languages...
Thati "S'ill vous Plâit" Tootoo thinks he should just stick with Germanic languages for now, with the possibility of easing into Russian in the future perhaps, needless is to say, Thati "S'ill vous Plâit" Tootoo is not sure he's up for that at the moment!

Fehler..Fehler ueberall! (um Toy Story zu paraphrasieren )

Merci! Tu l'as expliqué très bien. En ce moment (is this correct?) je comprends.

Yes this is a correct use of En ce moment.

Original post by We, happy few!
Réponse courte : Parce que.

Réponse longue : C'est des points de grammaire, tout simplement. Je ne saurai t'expliquer davantage. But just remember that:

à moins que ... ne (+ subjunctive)

Sometimes, you'll also see: à moins que (+ subjunctive)

I don't know which one is "GRAMMATICALLY" correct, though. :erm: But let's say that both are fine!

Yes both are grammatically correct  And pas is not needed with à moins que, it is not argo (like omitting the ne in everyday French and only keeping the pas), it is actually politically correct  There is a rule for when you can omit it, but I don't remember it, because I never omit it sorry :P

Guten Tag!
I'll try to correct the few bits that caught my attention
"und außerdem lerne ich auch Deutsch und Spanisch an..."
"eine sogenannte 'Hochschule'".." ? not sure about this one though
"über die Literatur und Geschichte..."
"wir lernen mehr über..."
And is the last sentence "so es ist nicht alles schlecht" like an authentic piece of German "quatsch" ?? Because It does not make sense! :pierre: "So es ist gar nicht schlecht" Vielleicht?
