How WW3 could start

This is based on a recent war game which involved retired defence and diplomatic figures from Israel and the US, details here.

So it goes like this:

Cyber attacks in Israel on infrastructure and hospitals causes Israel to blame Hezboallah
Which in turn cased them to launch rocket attacks on Israel
Gaza based militants launch attacks on Israel taking advantage of the chaos
This conflict starts to escalate and involve the conflict in Syria
Cyber attacks are launched on the US aimed at the stock market and air traffic control causing a number of crashes, state of emergency declared
US traces the attacks to Iran which denies involvement as does Hezboallah, China and Russia demand clear evidence at the UN.
Russia deploys troops to Syria to guard chemical weapon sites and sends in military gear to guard strategic sites

By the end of the game the US and Russia both had troops supporting their respective allies, with the entire region on the brink of a war. It turned out Iran had carried out the cyber attacks on the US but the ones in Israel were caused by al Qaeda which was trying to ignite a regional war.

The game showed the ineptitude of countries responses to Cyber Attacks and their need to respond with conventional force to digital attacks. Whilst this is an exaggerated scenario it is still concerning that one player could take advantage of current tensions so well.

I think countries are becoming more aware of being involved in proxy conflicts.

That's the point of the war game, they arem't. The findings from this game have actually been sent to the Israeli government

So despite the US and Israel having been shown to be some of the biggest culprits of cyber attacks in the last couple of years with China and Iran specifically targeted, this 'realistic' simulation puts Iran at the helm of driving in a new catastrophic war by provokingly launching a cyber war for no real reason?

It's very easy to see through this, this Israeli simulation puts those naughty and uncaring Iranians, Chinese and Russians as careless harbringers of destruction whilst the US and its allies contribution is merely defending itself.
