Who would they know which applicant account it is?

Sorry if that in any way offends you but I was really upset. I was wrongly accused of lying which is not something that anyone would take lightly.

Secondly, this website is clearly for socialising aswell. Of course, when in a professional situation I wouldn't swear or speak like that but this was something personal. Anyone in my position would have felt and said the same. This woman is pure evil. :frown:

You might want to have a look at the advice from BMA/GMC (I think both put out advice but might have been one) on the use of social networks. Remember that it's out there and so a patient in 5 years time might find it. With the increase in the use of social networks it is important to be aware of risks and potential issues. Some medical schools look for this at interview..

I doubt they would use something like this against me. But for my own sake I deleted the swears

Absolutely out of order, it's a stupid system.

You don't necessarily have to put AS grades if you have taken it to A2

Blimey.

Some re-applicants have only put down their cashed in final A2 levels. Others have put in both their AS-levels and A2's. Putting down your AS' is optional in the same way that putting down your UMS scores for every module is.

Leeds have spent the past 6 months pointing out to everyone who's anyone, that if you have achieved a2 levels, you will score full academic points, and the rest of your application will be judged on UKCAT and PS.

Due to their new computer system, they have put those with achieved A2's on the same pedestal as those with with GCSE's and no cashed in AS' - thereby ignoring the fact that they've achieved AAAA at AS and gone on to get AAA at A2, and only judging them on their GCSE's.

Those with achieved grades who put in both AS and A2 are fine though.

I would assume that they would re-classify re-applicants to abide by their initial admission policy through manual means. I really doubt they will leave the system as it is, as there is no logic behind this.
I would definitely call up before Leeds reject pre-interview just to confirm if Leeds will amend the reapplicants ranking :/

From their e-mails, it seems pretty clear they are not. I thought I would give it a couple of days to let this technical hoo-har calm down first.

That sucks :frown:
I just found out that I'm working Christmas day, boxing day, new year's eve and new years day. One of the perks of being an hca :hmmm:

I think they pay 50% more or double but I'd prefer the day off.
