Anything that could be taken as an insult is generally against the rules. It's ridiculous, I know - I came from some very "lax" forums before I got onto TSR (inc. the Misc) and I got loooaaaaaads of warnings for offensiveness at first because I had no clue where the line was or what "offensiveness" actually meant on TSR (tl;dr: it doesn't actually mean "offensive"). It's basically zero tolerance. Calling someone a moron, or a ****, or an idiot, or a dick will all get you warned. Even though it might seem completely benign to you!

Spam is pretty tight as well. Any responses that're considered "non-contributory" are spam - with the exception of places like Fitness Blogs and Chat...the rules are complex, but you get a hang of it.

Just to clarify, what classifies as an unacceptable post for Chat? I mean, is there such a thing as spamming Chat (beyond posting an incomprehensible post or something)?
