China ready to land robot rover on Moon

China is set to land a robotic rover on the surface of the Moon, a major step in the Asian superpower's ambitious programme of space exploration. On Saturday afternoon (GMT), a landing module will undergo a powered descent, using thrusters to perform the first soft landing on the Moon in 37 years.
Several hours later, the lander will deploy a robotic rover called Yutu, which translates as "Jade Rabbit".
The touchdown will take place on a flat plain called the Bay of Rainbows.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea commends our noble comrades from the People's Republic of China on this holy mission of unparalleled courage. We would like to take this opportunity to commit further cooperation between the free nations of Earth, including Iran, Syria, Cuba and Pakistan, in extending our influence into the stars through technological advancements; opposing the imperialistic aspirations of the European and North American space agencies; and aspiring to one day bless the Moon with a utopian worker's paradise.

Germany feels that N Korea's aspiration is a little out of it's reach.

Also that....

"We would like to take this opportunity to commit further cooperation between the free nations of Earth, including Iran, Syria, Cuba and Pakistan, in extending our influence into the stars through technological advancements"

The "Democratic" People's Republic of Korea should focus on improving the quality of life for those under the tyranny of Kim Jong-un

And that this is why issues exist in the DPRK (1) A lack of change in North Korea’s policy over the past decade plus,
(2) North Korea’s non-cooperation with international aid organizations thus leaving its people in absolute poverty,
(3) Ineffective distribution of food aid from international doners,
(4) The poor allocation of domestic funds which is being squandered on defense (military, nuclear weapons) programs,
(5) The use of food to ensure loyalty and control of the people to the oppressive regime.

This is a call for N Korea to focus on it's people.

These laughably false statements are irrelevant; and thus we shan't disrespect our glorious nation in lowering ourselves to respond.

The Kingdom of Spain: disagrees with N Korea's comments and commendation. These 'free countries' have a duty to their people first not their international reputation which comes second. Hence why Spain has chosen to improve its domestic problems before foreign ventures.

Spain think that like the situation between the UK and Spain over Gibraltar they should be sorting the problem and tensions between themselves and their sister country: South Korea...

Germany urges North Korea to respond to deep rooted issues as its inhabitants do not ignore pleads of other countries. Furthermore Germany feels the pleads of the West are falling on deaf ears therefore requests that countries such as China, Syria and Iran echo the call from Germany.

Germany fears that the DPRK is using the pursuit of space technology as a smoke screen to test and improve it's nuclear war head technology.

The DPRK is not bound by NPT and therefore, have every right to purse a nuclear programme as prescribed to them by their freedom to state sovereignty.

We fear that if these weapons were to be created they would not have the safeguards that the NPT countries have, therefore would be a dangerous to the citizens.

Russia would like to ask why you have failed to mention the greatest space program currently in operation, the Russian one.

Indonesia asks the DPRK if they wish to comment on theses accusations of their space program being nothing but an attempt to develop nuclear weapons. If the DPRK deny that they are producing such weapons then Indonesia asks for full impartial inspections to be done of the space program to asses the DPRK's truthfulness.

Our duty to our people is nothing less than ensuring our position as the most distinguished country on this planet.

As we have made clear, we are open to talks with the illegitimate 'government' of the southern half of our nation once our fellow people, held in capitalist bondage, rise up to demand Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un's enlightened leadership.

The boundless achievements of the Soviet space program serves as an eternal inspiration for us all. We lament the passing of the program from the control of workers to greedy, parasitic oligarchs, leaving it a shadow of its former glory.
OOC: Haha, thank you!

South Korea is not illegitimate, if they people don't want it then they can vote it out in the next election. A Marxist inspired uprising is any thing but democratic.

What rights does the Federal Republic of Germany or Indonesia have to supersede the sovereignty of another state to its domestic affairs? Syria knows hegemony when it sees it.

The Federal Republic of Germany is not committing 'hegemony' as we are not forcing the DRPK allow an inspection into it's space technology but simply wanting an inspection to be done but only at the will of the DPRK.

That would be imperialism, hegemony is to try to extend one's influence over the internal decision-making of a state, which is what Germany is doing. Syria does not appreciate it.

Hegemony is an indirect form of government, and of imperial dominance in which the hegemon rules geopolitically subordinate states by the implied means of power, the threat of force

Germany does not want to push this inspection by force but to ask the DRPK to allow for inspection.
