Idk if I'm posting in the wrong thread! But I have 5 offers for sociology
Warwick
Surrey
Cardiff
Royal holloway
Kent
But I really want to change kent to LSE, can I call kent to ask if they would withdraw my offer and so I could substitute the choice for LSE? Is that possible?
I applied a week ago today and haven't heard anything back yet, how long does it usually take for a first offer?

Depends, mine took 24 hours - I received offers from two unis that day but some people wait for months. It all depends which uni, what course and when did you apply (I think earlier you apply quicker you receiving offer)

Well if you applied a week ago and you haven't heard anything then you've almost certainly been rejected by all of them. :colonhash:

Just be patient, it can take months.

Don't worry! I applied for Loughborough at the beginning of November and received 2 offers the other day. It all depends on your university and course!

I'm looking to send off my ucas application tonight but I'm just really worried about my personal statement. I've asked my English Literature teachers to take a look at it but they haven't got back to me yet and I just want to get my application off asap ! I feel as though my personal statement is what I want it to be and it's adequate for the English Literature and Creative Writing course that I want to apply for. The universities i'm applying for are

Newcastle

Northumbria

Aberystwyth

Bath Spa

York St John

Is anyone else applying for these universities ? If so, have any of you sent off your ucas application yet ?

Applied for MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering at:
Oxford
Imperial
UCL (offer)
Manchester (offer)
Southampton (offer)
