On the fitness test do you go right from finishing the bleep test to the sit ups and press ups or is there a break in-between? I really appreciate all this by the way, its a big help

Orite pal just seen these ! Biggest advice id say is positive attitude, show your on the ball and focusing, we had a bunch of lads fail who didnt revise and some who didnt look arsed about being there.. In the interveiw aswel when they say if yu weren't successful on this PRTC what would you do... The only correct answer is 'you'd apply again' haha and dnt say that youve applied to your local fire station as it looks bad because were trained more than them haha

Hi guys can you help me. I have been told a load of different things in regards to this and im sure you can settle this. I am applying to be a firefighter and my next stage is my medical: following this do firefighter applicants complete a 1.5 mile run at a gym and then also complete the 3 day specialist interview with the bleep test etc. or as i have also been told by someone else, do we skip the 1.5 mile in the gym and just complete the 3 day course with the fitness test i.e bleep test, rat runs etc at manston??????

I am soooo confused being told different things in regards to this. Please settle this for me lol

Thank you x

Hey, no 1.5 mile run in the gym just 3 day interview hose runs, bleep test / press ups/ sit ups, cage crawls and ladder test then prtc and then sit and wait !
Hope that's ok?
