I'd definitely say psychology  it has scientific elements and goes well with biology!

Got an offer but they haven't invited me yet! Really want to see it again as I didn't get to see a lot on the open day.

Yeah I'm sure it will, I think mine took like a week or so to arrive
Anyone here do Ecology and Conservation? I have applied for zoology aswell and wondering which course will be more suited to me.
Got an offer from Oxford and UCL and trying to decide which is better. Any input?

If you have an offer from Oxford I'd personally go with that one, unless you really hate it in comparison with UCL. But do whatever feels best for you

Applied to Bath, Bristol, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield for Biology

Left it so late to apply because I just couldn't decide where to apply to.. was also considering Birmingham, Leicester, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester! Worried I've made wrong decisions, having only been to visit two of the unis on my list.

Biology is my insurance choice, at Leeds, if I don't pass my foundation year to the level needed to go onto Medical Sciences at Leeds. ^-^

Congratulations with the offers! Those were both unis I applied to, received an offer from UCL but sadly enough didn't get an offer after interviews at Oxford. I think that you shouldn't be thinking about reputation, as they're both top-level unis. It's more down to if you'd prefer a small or big city and if you think that the 1 on 1 tutorial system suits you. At UCL they have tutorials too, but in slightly larger groups. Also, studying in London will be more expensive than in Oxford, so that's also something to consider. Hope this helps!

Do you want to go into a specific area of biology?
What pros and cons have you come up with?

Well I'm not too sure yet, but I'd defiantly like to do something research based at the end of it - I'm quite interested in genetics/immunology and the molecular side of biology.

Pros of Imperial:
-Slightly better reputation, especially for sciences (recognised globally)
-nicer location (in my opinion) and nicer buildings
-good teacher:student ratio (1:14)
-smaller Uni that specialises more in science/ engineering rather than a variety of subjects like UCL

Cons of Imperial/Pros of UCL:
-male dominated (although apparently it's quite balanced for biology)
-poor social life (or so I've heard?)
-further away from home- i have to get an extra train (I'm going to be living at home)
-apparently UCL has a good balance between work and social life...

That's pretty much my list...I mean I'm going to go and visit both of them again and go over the course details but so far I think Imperial is in the lead :P
