Is double math, Japanese a weak combination?
Depends what you want to do with it. If you want to do maths are university you should be okay but otherwise it may be seen as limiting. You would be doing double maths which means two very similar subjects and obviously if you can do the harder maths you can do the other one. So they may not see it as much of a challenge. It also depends on whether you are a fluent Japanese speaker naturally or are native Japanese because then they won't see that as much of a challenge. Seek advice from your school too, because they clearly know you better than I do!

Thanks for your advice.
I left my school and had no teachers to ask for.
I want to do Law actually, is there any qualifications I should get besides GCEAL?
I am from HK and I am not a native Japanese.

Most UK Unis do not specify subjects for Law - they just want VERY high grades.

However, an 'essay' subject like History, English Lit, Sociology etc would be useful in terms of showing your ability to deal with text, analysis, and the tons of reading involved in a Law degree. They also look for relevant experience/awareness - vacation work in a lawyers office, days in the Public Gallery of local Courts, going to relevant Public Lectures at your local Uni, Summer Schools etc.
