How are you a re-applicant with those amazing STATS!

Those of you who have had interviews, was the interview 15-20mins or did it overrun?

Thanks for the support guys!
They stuck rigidly to the schedule so it didn't over run.
Was a nervous wreck before my interview! Once I was there, I'm pretty sure I was still shaking. But embrace it! It'll keep you alert.

I felt my interview went quite well. I've had 3 interviews to date but this was the best one.

My advice is read extensively. Read everything you can get your hands on related to what you've written on your personal statement.

The difference from last year is I applied to UCL, upped my bmat, and my motivation for the course has defo increased.

Am I right in thinking that the majority of the undergraduate home applicants (school leavers) should be receiving interview invites in the last few weeks of January and during February?

It went well, but I think my interview was fairly atypical. The lead interviewer specialised in a lecture topic I saw on a work placement so we spent 15mins talking about that before they were like realised they were out of time.

Some interviews did run over, there was some girl in the morning who they were like 20mins late for, but its unusual

Hey guys! I have my interview on the 28th and was just wondering if you have any tips on how to prepare and the sort of questions they ask you? Also, I wrote down the points I wrote in my BMAT essay when I came out, so do you think I should do a bit more background reading about the topic or will that be pointless?
Thanks!!! : D

Those who have gone for interview, just wondering - do they ask any ethical questions during the interview?

Hi I noticed your a re-applicant. Are you doing extra AS levels in your gap year or do you mean you did 5 subjects in total?

They're not structured in the same way King's are with the set ethical case study but they'll be looking for evidence of empathy.
They're trying to tick off everything on their list so if it's relevant to the conversation they may drop in a question.
For example I got asked whether people who smoke/drink should be given lung/liver transplants because I just happened to be talking about meeting heavy drinkers and smokers on my work exp.

Any internationals yet to receive a reply from UCL? Silence till now probably means a rejection though. :frown:
