About your sexuality

Nope, I'm not in denial about anything.

Jeez. Why do people feel the need to label ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING?

what's the alternative?

You're right. Let's not label anything.

Just being happy in who you are without labelling every single aspect of yourself?

Well I wouldn't say not label anything. The condiments section at Tesco would be a nightmare.

Without labels we wouldn't know what anything is...

Why can't we just be happy it's a sauce without labelling every aspect of it?

Because we need to know WHAT sauce we was using!
Another silly, faddy label for people who want to appear "different" and get attention.

You just used a lot of labels in this post...including the word "label"

I realise you're not saying "label nothing" though.
Do you watch anime?

Are you surprised that this is the first time I have heard of graysexualality?

When did you begin to identify yourself as greysexual?

. . . I was being sarcastic to make a point. You'll notice I was mirroring his comment about the need to label sexualities

I used to, but I grew out of it.

No, it makes sense to me.

I think I've been one for a while, I just never realized it until it came to me that I've never found anyone sexually appealing. It was thanks to my thread about sex that I realized that I might be one.

Because then you wouldn't know what you're eating. You can put 'Tomato Ketchup' on the bottle but you don't need to have diagrams of the structures for the compunds that it is made of. That would be overlabelling, like what OP is doing.

Exactly my point. Labels are good to an extent, however this is just getting silly.

You don't need to label every single facet of everything.

The don't just put 'tomato sauce' on it though, they have the ingredients too.

Where should people draw the line then? Do you feel people shouldn't identify themselves as asexual?

I think the conclusion is there's a time and a place for labels.

If, say, you're writing an academic paper which uses a particular thing a lot, then a short, memorable label for that thing is probably best, rather than describing that thing every time.
That's *******s. Why can't people just be content with being whatever the **** they are and not come up with stupid words for it?

I'm Tyraniopianosexual. Didn't you know? It means I'm attracted to dinosaurs playing the piano.
