Geography ESSAY HELP!!!

Hey all,

I'm desperate for a good essay structure, could you please give me advice in how to get top marks in essays. I really appreciate the help. I've been told I have good understanding but fail in applying it to essay questions. I'm doing A2 Geo at the moment but I am re-taking one AS unit and the exam board is Edexcel. Any advice is appreciated.

Give a brief summary of what your going to include in your answer

Pargraph 1
Answer the question
-why?
-how?
-explain
Refer to an example/case study

Paragraph 2,3,4 etc

Conclusion
Refer back to the question
Give your opinion
Bring in any extra examples

I got an A in my AS and get good marks on the A2 essays we've done
