r1,r2 are justifiable so his the injury months!.

Rakas what's the record for most points in a season Rafa is soon approaching 15100 points 5000 point lead ahead of NOLE:

Most points in a season probably Roger Federer: under the old rankings system he had 8,370pts in 2006 - equates to around 16,740 in today's system

Also had a huge lead over Nadal: 3,900 pt lead - equates to 7,800 pts now

I think Fed had the most number of ranking points in 2006. Not sure though.

Nadal has the chance of accumulating more points!

Don't they all look like cheerleaders in their players box? Lendl excluded of course. It's just a shame Vajda had other commitments

Well, until Wimbledon Miami is the only tournament that he can add more points. Btw, what's his schedule for next month. Is he going to South America again?

Ah, the old days... Incidentally the last Fedal match I saw live (i.e. at the actual venue) was the 2007 Wimbledon final

Who ever thought that it would be the last time Fed would beat Rafa in a slam. He was only 25 then too. Seems so weird.

I was there for 2006 final. It was a great experience, I must say.

In the post-match on-court interview he kinda let this line slip:

"He's a fantastic player and he's going to be around so much longer so I'm happy with every one I get before he takes them all.

"It was such a close match. I told him at the net that he deserved it as well. I'm the lucky one today."

Not sure exactly what it meant - very cryptic, but perhaps that was the turning point in the Slam mathes

Oh, how his words came back to bite him. But he probably knew that he was on the way down and Rafa was on the way up.

Na new tourneys

Last year he played 2 250s and a 500. This year he is only playing one of each, so he will lose 150 points, not that it would make that much of difference.

Rafa denied 1 slam and 2 Masters along with a dubai title which would have put Feds 2006 as the greatest ever!
