I don't have any idea about the particular exam board you are talking about but I find that hard work and finding some good resources and making revision plans seem to work for me in particular. Sorry if that wasn't helpful.
I'm studying AS chemistry at the moment, but I won't mind chatting with an A2 student and see what they're studying as I like to read ahead, but I guess that doesn't help yourself a lot if you have to teach me.

Actually I'm doing Edexcel. We can stay in touch if you PM me your email.
We haven't started F335 just yet but I assume it's similar to the rest of Salters? Just look through the spec and highlight what you don't know, then revise these things/get help from teachers.

Another way of benchmarking yourself is to do some past papers without book/textbook help. That way you know what topics you're good at and what topics you're not so good at and work from there

Good luck!

Quick tips: Should get you an A-A*
1) Hard work (most obvious)
2) Motivation
3) Healthy eating (Allows your brain to hold information for longer)
4) Exercise (This links in with 2, it helps with motivation and also links in with 3)
5) Study timetable (Create a flexible timetables, relaxing times, study times, not just for chemistry but for all subjects)
6) Early bed time (You're brain will be fresh to absorb more information the next day)
7) Little distractions (Especially You're phone, going on inappropriate sites like mini clip or stuff like that)
8) For chemistry its important to do as much calculations as you can, example, Moles, Bond enthalpy etc...
9) Go through as MUCH reactions as you can. This will make you get a SOLID A. For example when mixing two specific reactants what can you observe.
10) Go through AS MUCH PAST PAPERS as possible!
11) DON'T JUST DO PAST PAPERS, DO QUESTIONS ON THE INTERNET!
12) Have frequent breaks, ideally after every 90 minutes of studying for 15 minutes.
13) And finally have some almonds ! - Or other brain food.

Extra: Don't smoke, Drink, Have sex (Unless your married), Watch Porn, Fornicate and all these stuff. These cause a EXTENSIVE disadvantage to learning and studies. Thousands if not millions are at a disadvantage due to this.

As long as you keep your brain happy, you will be happy too.

Are the exam boards similar? I'll message you my Skype if you're still game!
I found that doing loads of past papers really helped because very similar questions come up in the exam.

I do not know, but they probably are. Sorry that wasn't helpful. We can just discuss general chemistry stuff if they don't match well?
On second thoughts email would be better. I barely check Skype these days.

Why does sex put you at a disadvantage :s-smilie:? It's good for your immune system
I need an A, didn't do as well as I had hoped last year, need to get 84% to get an A overall :/

Hahaha, Generally speaking, its not great is it now?.. Hormones will be raging, and you will hardly be focused on studying. I never knew sex is good for immune system , there is more of a chance your immune system rupturing than improving, rather not take that risk eh? *cough* HIV *cough*.
