LSE rarely accepts students for 2nd year entry so no, I applied as a first year student. And no, havent seen anyone applying for the course. What are your subs?

Sorry to hear that.
What emails did you get before the rejection?

Oh look, it's that time of the week again. You know, when we all get our hopes up, only to be crushed by the silence from the LSE admissions offices.

Here's to the incessant checking of emails!

Offer for Maths and Econ received on 19th December
A girl in my class just told me she got an offer for law in october, 3 weeks after she send her application and had an interview. 3 weeks!?! Is that even possible. I have been waiting for months now. :'(

When did you get your offer and why can't you retake your exam?

I rang them and they said I cant retake it since the grades needs to be achieved from the exam that i put on UCAS application... do you know if its possible to resit and get in if i get the right grades?

how do you know that they'll reject you? Maybe they will let you in since you just missed it with a little difference.

I hope they do, but with BSc in Economics I dont think there will be vacant places for those who marginally missed their offers
Any decisions today?

Mine ended 2 weeks ago, including the extra 2 weeks added over Christmas. Holding out hope for tomorrow. LSE Thursdays have been a bit quiet recently...

Omfg I sent my application off on the 9th of October for philosophy and economics and my "final decision" was supposed to be on the 18th of Jan... still nothing. I am so peed off.

Applied on the same day as you (9th Oct). Applied for History. Received all the relevant emails, 2 week, 5 week, 4 week and 2 week. My time for a decision was 2 weeks ago.

Also, to answer Unknown#'s question:
GCSE's: 2A*6A3B1C
AS: AAAE
A2 predictions: A*AA

I resat year 12, and have major extenuating circumstances dating back to GCSE's.
