My UCAS says 'conditional' so does that mean conditional offer!!!??

Sorry I just want to check as I'm so confused because it's from Cambridge and I thought my interview went awfully! But it would be 'unsuccessful' otherwise right...? I just thought it would say 'conditional offer' or something instead of just 'conditional' though.

Sorry... I'm just... shocked!!! Also they said it would take another week for a reply - really worried they've done it wrong or something and got me mixed up with someone!!

Well done on your offer! I was just wondering when your original interview was and how long it took Cambridge to get back to you? I had my interview on the 27th and going crazy waiting, although they did say it could be up to 2 weeks! Thanks
quick question guys

i have a 2.2 in a science subject achieved in 2011. I have about 2 years of experience volunteering in a childrens hospital one day per week which involved a lot of one on one time with children. I don't have any school experience but I plan on doing all I can to change that, IF there is still a chance I can get on a PGCE course? The deadlines say 15th sept and 31st Oct, but surely the 2014 courses could have started by then? Are those deadlines correct?

Do I still have a chance of getting on a PGCE (secondary) if I act fast??

Yay! Well done! Is it your first choice? What colleges did you apply to? I applied to Jesus and Homerton

Looks like I might see you in September!

Yeah it's my first choice :-) I applied to Homerton and Jesus too :-)

Just desperate to receive the letter through the post now so I can see what the conditions are!

Hi there,

To my knowledge it is a requirement that you have at least 10 working days working in a classroom environment.

The 'deadlines' are ultimately when the UCAS applications have to stop however courses can close as soon as they are full up (some have closed already).

I don't want to put you off though, I mean it could be worth a try you never know? And also if the course you want to do is one of the less competitive ones then by all means give it a shot.

Let us know how you get on

I had my interview on the 24th  They said two weeks to us too but I heard on Friday - exactly a week after the interview. So hopefully you should hear very soon! Good luck! Did you apply for primary?

Yay exciting! I know me too - they kept going on in my interview about me not having enough foundation stage experience, so I think my conditions may involve doing another week or two in a school as they said they regularly make offers that require you spend one or two more weeks in a school.
has anybody got or had an interview at bedford for pgce primary??

I've decided to apply for the Computer Science/IT PGCE this year. I was planning on taking a year out after I graduate this year, but want to keep my options open.

My application isn't going to be as good as it could be this year however, as I haven't observed any classes recently. I was a TA for over a year, but that was in 2010/2011. I've also taught abroad for 2 months in 2011, and my parents are foster carers (I live with them, and help with the children), so that may help my application.

While I'm going to send an application this year, taking a year out to get experience/travel etc is still an option, so I'm not as stressed about applying, getting an interview, or reliant on securing a place this year.
Had my first interview at a SCITT today. Terribly nervous now waiting for results!

What happens next when you accept an offer on ucas?

The university will then be in touch with you regarding any conditions, checks etc. usually by letter I'd imagine.

Congratulations! I wanted to go to MMU but I haven't applied there yet because I only have Spanish and I thought they wanted two languages. Did you offer a second language?
