What has the world come to?
That is absolutely vile, how can someone do that to their own sister

That is messed up beyond so many levels. Imagine inflicting it on your own child sister, disgusting.

Sickening this, and I am not sure how this boy can blame watching porn on the xbox for committing such a horrible act on his sister.

Rapes by young boys are always blamed on porn - maybe not always by the boys, but by their lawyers and in such cases this is generally accepted by the judge. There have been some 11-12 year old rapist trials in the last few years (thankfully very few!) and the boy is usually let off "because he got addicted to porn" and made to undergo "therapy" instead of being punished in some way for what he did.

This is extremely strange and nonsensical because society in general does not think porn is harmful (!), and one would never let off an adult rapist for this reason, but somehow, because they are young boys, the reasoning that porn is to blame and not the boy is accepted. (Probably due to wishful thinking. The same way that someone has to be over 18 before people will accept s/he is a psychopath whereas when they were younger their behavior was likely explained away by bad influences or by a bad upbringing.)

This is actually too disgusting, hope the girl is okay.
Let's hope they can both move on from this and go on to live happy and constructive lives.

I blame the parents.

Faith in humanity = lost
Probably an overly aggressive child brought up incorrectly by his parents

Pathetic article bringing up watching porn on an Xbox as if that was the cause of this. I watched porn at that age and I don't recall raping anyone as a result.
And something like this had to happen for people to realise children should not have access to porn. Sick sick sick. I can't even believe this actually happened. I feel sick.

He was clearly not right in the head. Who does that to their own SISTER?
I played war games from the age of 8, did I go on a rampage for world domination? No.

You can't blame porn on this I feel really sorry for his family
Imagine how the parents must feel...

This little s*** certainly does NOT deserve to live a happy life! As for the girl, I really hope she has a million happy memories and events that over shadow this horrific time.

this is vile, he did this to his own sister and basically scarred her for life!

13 years old is old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Plus he admitted he knew it was wrong so he shouldn't get a lesser sentence at all. Absolutely disgusting. He's also meant to be living at the family home still so his sister has to see her abuser every day of her life, what are his parents thinking? Disgraceful.

Well the reality is he is a child. What do you propose happens to him then?
