Yeah it's a prepositional phrase that modifies the verb, 'communicating'.

Thankyou! So is "the balance" in "restoring the balance" one too? And what would the whole phrase be?

No, 'the balance' isn't a prepositional phrase. The preposition was 'with'. 'Restoring the balance' could be a gerund phrase, depending on the context.

A noun phrase. Why do you need so much detail? Seems like a lot.
