Terminology Help

Just wondering in "communicating directly with people" what term is "with people"? Is it a prepositional noun phrase? Also, what would the whole term be? With Verb Phrase + ? =

Yeah it's a prepositional phrase that modifies the verb, 'communicating'.

No, 'the balance' isn't a prepositional phrase. The preposition was 'with'. 'Restoring the balance' could be a gerund phrase, depending on the context.
