how do you rank the sciences?

physics is my favourite and biology doesn't interest me at all so
physics > chemistry > biology

edit: you can rank maths too! with maths, it'd probably look like:
physics > maths > chemistry > biology

you'll note that the o.p. indicated ranking based on preference rather than perceived respect.
A very interesting question. I can't make my choice between physics and biology. It is difficult to decide which of them should rank first. But if I consider physics contains more calculations than biology (and I like calculations), physics is at the top. That is my order:

physics > biology > chemistry

Can mathematics be counted as science too?
Chemistry is my favourite (it also has the best experiments), next is Physics which is interesting but the experiments aren't that great. Biology is my least favourite though it's probably the easiest

Physics > Chemistry > Biology

Ofcourse Maths beats all of these though :u:

Ranked on interest:

(most interested) Biology > Physics > Chemistry (least interested)

Ranked on difficulty:

(most difficult) Chemistry > Biology > Physics (least difficult)

i guess so! maths is fundamentally the purest science. i'll add it to the list

but probably not psychology, sociology, etc. i'm talking mostly about natural sciences.
Economics....well it is a social science!

Okay, in seriousness though in terms of enjoyability, I'd say:

Maths
Chemistry
Physics
Biology

But then I've never been one to really enjoy sciences if I'm honest, so my opinions aren't great because I never really paid attention in classes at GCSE and hence why I only took two of these at AS level (Maths and Chemistry - I sucked at both but 75% of my degree is maths and I kinda like it so)
I think Biology=Chemistry>Physics for personal preference,
and Physics>Biology=Chemistry for difficulty.

Maths is right off the scale though.
chemistry and biology equally!

physics is just naaaaaa boring
Maths, physics, chemistry, biology

From favourite to least favourite
This pretty much sums it up

From xkcd

Although my personal favourite (and the topic I just happen to be studying) is Chemistry.
Explosives and colours, what more could you need?

I was pretty garbage at Maths so for me preference wise, it went ( I only did up to GCSE)

Biology>Chemistry>Physics

In order of difficulty though I'd put them

Chemistry>Physics>Biology

And to the guy insisting that Science A-Levels and Maths are the most respected I would say that it completely depends on what degree or even job you want to do.

your forgetting biology! it is an A listed a level
For A level

Strange order I know

Good to know and thanks for your reply! so this is my new list in order of the most interesting to 'most uninteresting':

Mathematics > Physics > Biology > Chemistry

This list should not be shown that I'm not interest in Chemistry. On the contrary! but in comparison to the other natural sciences, Chemistry comes last.

Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Chemistry and physics don't interest me at all, I can't wait until June when I'll never have to study chemistry ever again. Biology all the way!
