so those of you who have maned up and decided to play something more intimidating than mario or cod , what is your favourite horror game,or game trailer. dont care about release date just looking for something good

by far the definition of horror . plus one of the best trailers EVER

Dead Space, whilst still being an excellent game, is child's play compared to Amnesia or Penumbra.

You have no weapons and your only defence is to run and hide. The only horror games where I've had to turn them off cause the tension was so high.

I'm not sure if you're aware but there's a Gaming subforum.
Saying that TLOU was great, and I'm pretty sure that's horror. Or Dark Souls if that is? Uncharted definitely turned it at the end.

I haven't played them but aren't the Dead Space games mainly action?
I didn't find it scary but proper horror is Amnesia apparently.
Wait does that mean L4D isn't horror? Like, the most zombie-infested game ever?

Best video game trailer, if not trailer of any entertainment format, is the Dead Island trailer. So many emotions, so much promise. It is just a shame the game didn't live up to the hype.

For games, I would say the F.E.A.R games, or the Amnesia series (although a little over-rated IMO).

For sheer terror, I would suggest playing pokemon and getting to the champion battle, all with no saving and extremely low battery.
