Maybe a joint honours is for you?

I love Maths but I don't like statistics.. Physics is also very interesting so I get to remove all my statistics modules and I have Physics instead.. works perfect for me and i can specialise in either in the future too

I would not recommend doing a joint honours bro. Better to solely specialize in one area. Unless they are interrelated such as Accounting and Finance.

I think before you get a proper Rishta you're allowed to get to know the person. In my case thats what my parents have told me. Unless they were lying  I do think it is neccersary to get to know the person you're going to spend your life with. My family history is somehow filled with "love marriages" My Mum and Dad for example, they had a mixture. The best story i've heard was my grandparents, they fell in love in India after the separation of Pakistan, and ran away to Pakistan after their families did not allow them to get married  My mum has always told me to get to know the person. In this case i do know this Kutti quite well as her family are family friends

Yeah i was, i've certainly been in several relationships which is a concern for me. Luckily (back then i would say unluckily) I never *did* anything :colone: But I often think that some girls are so pious and religious, they don't really deserve someone like me who only just practised religion for about 6-7 years now and someone with my background :frown:

Hmmm, that sounds pretty interesting  If they are family friends, doesn't it make it a little bit awkward if you decide against marrying her after speaking to her for a while? :curious:

But most people are like you, in a sense, aren't they? As a kid/young person, one doesn't really understand the crux of faith until they start to delve into things themselves - it's largely the reason why I personally do not assign myself to the religion of my parents  I think, since you take it upon yourself to be serious about your faith now, that a Kutti would be lucky to have you

So how would you define intelligence?

Ironically, you spelt intelligence wrong.

Sorry blad, I'm on phone

Intelligence is different, is not directly related to getting good grades.

Btw you just sinned. You're meant to cover up the mistakes of your brothers. On the day of judgement Allah will share your mistakes with everyone.

Maths and Physics is a pretty solid combination though, it depends on the area I guess.

Hm.. Is dat you in your avatar????? :hmmm:

Another point: I call brown people brownies too  had a nice conversation with a White person in my English class about them today... He thought I was high

 I've already mentioned on here that it's a picture of a dead Afghan commander (Ahmad Shah Massoud), a noble peace prize candidate; it would be rather strange if I was a Punjabi 19 year old with the looks of a 40 year old, wearing a Pashtun hat (Pakol)

I rarely spoke about Asianess to white people at school - where I live, most people are white so I saw little point in educating them on us :K:
What did you tell him? lol

SHOW ME THE HADITH WHERE IT SAYS THIS. IF YOU CANNOT SHOW ME, THEN YOU HAVE JUST CREATED BID'AH. INNOVATION. ASTAGHFIRULLAH.

So do not pass judgement on me, for that is not your place.

240. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "Allah will cover up on the Day of Resurrection the defects (faults) of the one who covers up the faults of the others in this world".
[Muslim].

Abu Hurairah :anhu: narrates that the Prophet :saw: said: "One who helped someone in a trouble in this world, Allah will help him in his trouble in the Hereafter and one who keeps the faults of a Muslim secret in this world, Allah will keep his faults in the Hereafter and Allah remains in the help of the (Muslim) man until he is in the help of his brother." (Musnad Ahmad: 274/2)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: The servant (who conceals) the faults of others in this world, Allah would conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection. [Sahih Muslim, The Book of Virtue, Good Manners
and Joining of the Ties of Relationship (Kitab Al-Birr was-Salat-I-wa'l-Adab)

Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah will cover up on the Day of Resurrection the defects (faults) of the one who covers up the faults of the others in this world.”
[Sahih Muslim]
Commentary:
Covering up the shortcomings and faults of people is an excellent manner. That is why this quality is very much liked by Almighty Allah. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will give a matching reward to that man who has such a quality, which means that Allah will forgive his sins and will not call him to account for his sins. If at all He will do so, He will not do it publicly so that he is not embarrassed before others. Then Allah may forgive him for the sins or He may punish him for a short while.
And Allah Knows Best!

Calling me an imbecile? Again you sin.

Sahih International
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

Its clearly says you're wrong in sharing my mistakes with the world. I look forward to the day Allah shares your mistakes with the world.

There is currently no alternative, so either I take a loan out with riba, or don't go to university.

May Allah forgive me.
