Is there ever time for legs?

Not really.

It was 'only' 4 days as I lifted on the Monday, just didn't update as I was being lazy.

Had an ice hockey game Saturday night, it's INCREDIBLY draining/leaves me dead the day after, so I didn't lift at the weekend :frown: All those wasted gains!

Just incline barbell benching is my new chest workout, I've decided I hate flat bench as it's such a pain in the arse having to get a lift off during warm up sets, let alone during working sets.

Plus, it's much easier on my triceps, shoulders, biceps, wrists and elbows.

what team do you play for? i have a mate that plays for sheffield.

Strong DB shoulder press my friend. How quickly did you progress using dumbbells for shoulder presses when you were using 15kg?

I can't remember not having a decent press, it's always been a strong point.
uselesspress crew checking in

I can lift more with dumbbells because you can turn it in to an incline and you're seated. Besides the Viking press , which I love but not sure if it's doing much for my shoulders , I haven't found a shoulder exercise that works for me.

Love benching hate pressing

Had some RC/shoulder pain so I took some time off, and then the last few days I've been knackered from a couple of ice hockey games and ice hockey training. Back in the gym tonight for a cheeky chest workout... Hoping I haven't lost all my gains :frown:

No OJ + 2weeks off = A weak Scoobs.

Took yesterday off, lifted today instead. Much better than expected. Not lost too much strength at all really. Previous chest day I hit 100kg X 6 on incline, today was 90kg X 8, so no real loss. I am feeling weaker and smaller due to not lifting for so long and doses of stuff being much, much lower, but I think a lot of it is mental. I reckon in a week or so when I'm back into full swing I'll feel 100% again.

tfw not allowed to compete because of Russia's stance on homosexuality.

How long does it take you to get through such a short chest workout?

Including warming up and stuff, just under and hour, I think.

I'm dropping my volume down and focusing on weight and progression a little more. Plus, I don't have the same recovery rate I once did, nomsayin.

It went better than I thought, pleasantly surprised.

I was expecting 13 days off(with a less than great diet) + cutting my doses of stuff right down to result in some what substantial loses, but that doesn't seem to be the case
