Has anyone from the December interviews rang them and asked why they're taking so long? every time I try ring they don't pick up :frown:

I rang them up a few weeks back and they said that they were pooling all the average applicants to compare them with the later interviewees and then dish out offers/rejections  (my interview was Dec 5th by the way)

Scan them onto your computer and then you can upload the documents in a message on Portal in the section "send Kings a message".

On the "category" section click "additional documents", write a quick message to say what you're uploading, then just below that, click "choose file". Then you can name it to say what it is before you click "upload". You can continue to upload more files until you're done. Then click "send" and you're done
I just got that email as well. My heart stopped!

Hey,

Click on "Send King's a message" and then if you scroll down a little you can see a "browse" button and then you can upload files.

Edit:

Oops sorry didn't see someone replied already!

Any current King's students here, or anyone who knows about the uni - how are you finding it? Is there a good freshers week at the start of the year to meet people - nights out etc? How is the social life of Kings? Do they do the academic families thing where you get medic parents? Which accommodation would you recommend? Thanks!!

PS is there an offer holders facebook page set up yet? Good luck to all who are still waiting to hear!

Current Kings medic here, going to answer your questions in order

1) The Uni is pretty good, the pre-clinical years mainly based at Guy's campus and you get to meet and know a lot of people, there's a very friendly atmosphere. Teaching is pretty good too - especially anatomy.

2) I personally don't do the whole partying scene, but fresher's week is very eventful and GKT hold their own events and stuff, so don't worry there will be plenty of events and a lot of socialising!

3) Yes they do 'mums and dads' scheme where year twos 'adopt' year 1s and so forth. Different societies also do mentoring schemes, and when it comes to OSCEs, various societies will run mocks and training sessions, so it's all very supportive and friendly.

4) Accommodation is a personal thing, Great Dover Street was very popular in my first year, but in all honesty, wherever you end up living you will settle down

Any other questions feel free to message me

All applications for accommodation which are recieved on time are treated equally and allocated randomly via ballot ; usually people who live outside m25 given priority ... ( there are many criteria read the website for more details )
Hope that helps
