Hi, I'm getting quite worried about question 7, as I know perfectly well how to find the equation of a line but have a feeling I rushed it and messed up...

Was the x intercept for the tangent (3,0)?

hello I was just wondering if you had the questions for this paper?
I don't know if anyone is still on this page, but i would really appreciate it if you could explain the method for 4i? I got set this for homework and I'm completely stuck! (what topic does it even come under?)

From looking at the answers, I assume that it is completing the square.

Yes they found it easy.

Certain to confuse as f(x) did not equal 1/x^2.

which is why I stated IF f(x) = . . .

Hi Mr M, I used a non-HB pencil for my graph. Will that be a problem? :frown:

No.

Thank you SO much, I was freaking out thinking that the scanner wouldn't read it because I used a regular pencil instead of a HB one.

Do you think a 66 would get an A in this paper or would the grade boundaries be ridiculous because it was a pretty easy paper?
