UCL Firmers 2014

Hi everyone,

thought I'd create a thread for anyone who is firming UCL!

Personally I've already got my place, I started in September '13 but left in the first term due to illness and deferred my place. So I'll be a fresher again September 2014!

If you have any questions then feel free to ask me. I'm sure I probably had the same questions when I was in your position

Good luck everyone.

Haha I hope so, seeing as it's four years long. It's unconditional so I'm definitely going  Not sure what I'm going to do with it after that but...

What are you taking?

Oh awesome, see you in September then!
French and German - so mine is 4 years as well
You'll find something, there are a lot more options for Viking Studies than you'd think - I can't remember what exactly but I remember reading something on it a while ago :yep:

Oh awesome. I did French to GCSE, got an A, then gave up. I admire you for doing two languages...I think I'd find that hard going. :frown:
Haha that's reassuring...I have some woolly plan about going into academia but...don't want to get ahead of myself

Haha I love languages, been learning quite a few but my brain got jumbled  Yeah that's true, we're a long way away from careers yet

Firmed for English~
Applied for accommodation hoping for one of the closer UCL halls to bloomsbury
I'm just completing my accommodation application. One of my best friends has also firmed UCL (for archaeology) so we're requesting to room together :h:

Fingers crossed she'll meet her offer - I have every faith she will! :yep:

Does anyone know the deadline for the accomodation application? I'm wondering whether to wait until I've recieved my finance application back and know how much maintenance loan I'll definitely get.
