Manchester postgraduate accomodation

Hello to all,
My name is Emma, I will be starting an MA in September at UoM.
I am currently looking for a flat/house and flatmates! Would like to share it with people also doing an MA if possible.
Is anyone else in the same position?

I'm clean and considerate. I did my undergrad in Bristol and have just got back from travelling around Latin America for a year so got a lot of partying out of my system so will not be hosting loud parties in my room.
Now looking for a quiet environment to do well in my MA. Would like to live somewhere close to the UoM and to a supermarket/gym!
How about yourself?

Hi Emma,

We have a spare room in our four bedroom student home, all of us other students will be in our final year of university. We are quite social, love going out to watch film and sports but also know the importance of getting your work done.

The room is based within Fallowfield, two minutes away from the Sainsburys, bus stop and main bus routes. mmu/Uni of manchester are like 10-15 minutes away by bus. The room is a double room, costing £68 week without bills and is available from 01.07.2014 - 30.06.15

let me know if you need any more info . Its right next to a huge Sainsbury's and the Armitage Centre gym.

Hi Emma,
I'm in the same situation. I'm starting my MA at either Westminster of london college of fashion in september ,just haven't decided which one yet. Im an international student from America so I don't know much about where the safe good neighborhoods are. I'm clean, considerate, love shopping , fashion , going to the gym.

Hi Emma,

My names Catherine (or Cj for short). I'm not sure if you are still looking but thought I'd send you a message just incase.

I graduated from Manchester a couple of years ago and have since been working in London as a consultant. I am going back to Manchester in September 2014 to study for my masters in Organisational Psychology.

I'm pretty easy going as a person - love to socialise and meet new people but equally happy with a cup of tea in front of the tv. I'm very focused when it comes to work/studying so like you, I am looking for a more chilled out and quiet place to live rather than a 'party house'.

I am going off traveling in a couple of weeks but I am here until then so please do drop me an email or message if you are still looking for a flat mate..

Hi Emma,

I have a spare double bedroom available for £85 a week, all bills included, with a washer/dryer. Desks/chairs/etc will be provided, and it is currently getting refurbished, so you will have nice, new furniture :smile:

1 minute away from bus stops/Oxford Road (so a 10 minutes walk to the UoM campus), and 3 minutes from shops. It is a 51 week tenancy, from September 6th 2014-September 1st 2015

I'm pretty easygoing, clean, tidy, and quite quiet, but I'm really chatty, and love meeting new people. If you're interested, please PM me! :smile:
