About 3000 calories, had to taper it back a bit as I can no longer cycle or do as much running as I was

Hit my macros, probs go a bit OTT with fat but meh I'll live, I need the full fat milk to get me through the day! I have 500mls of it a day when I have it in, I usually blend a scoop of whey 50-100g of oats, ice cream, a banana or 2 together with the milk to make sure I've eaten enough.

Didn't eat enough yesterday, got DOMS everywhere

52.5kg 3 x 5 PB YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Would recommend shoulder press every workout if you're doing a 3 day body split.. shoulder gains all over the place, stall is being shifted
Widened my grip slightly, makes a small change

Leg extensions
40lbs 1 x 5
70lbs 1 x 5
105lbs 3 x 10 PB

Chin ups
BW 1 x 5
+10kg 2 x 3 PB
1 x 2
+5kg 1 x 3
1 x 2

Lunges
30kg DBs 2 x 5 PB time to go all out
1 x 7 PB boooom

Calf raises on leg press machine
175lbs 1 x 15 lightweight
190lbs 2 x 15 all out assault was needed
1 x 20 PB Awww yeah maxed the machine out for 20
I need a way of adding weight to calf work as these were so so so easy

Cable tricep pulldowns
level 5 3 x 8 PB a big PB at that

Preacher curls
12.5kg 2 x 7
1 x 3
10kg 1 x 5

Gainz all over the place

Nice OHP! Yeah I think the best gains are made training a movement 3-4 times a week (maybe not deadlifts, those are really taxing).


Damn I did preachers today for the first time ever super strict only biceps all the way down to the bottom and stretch and had 20kg on the e-z bar and only got 7 reps. Thought I was weak as **** but this makes me feel better :tongue:.

For squats and shoulder work I agree, both are hideous to try and progress on not doing regularly enough

They're horrendous but feel good afterwards, the whole thing is a grind when keeping them strict, I feel it quite a bit on my forearm as well. Been needing to do some bicep work due to neglecting them for months. Rather than the traditional 2/3 of my arm being tricep, it's more like 3/4 :lol:

My triceps are a thing of beauty in comparison to the rest of me.

Mate, I've been doing yous all proud. Went out for sushi yesterday and had about 2000 calories in one sitting. Went to the Mosque Kitchen today and had a massive chicken curry, and then a burger place for 12oz of beef, bacon and cheese. Oh lawd.

Jelly, my arms are like 50/50 bicep/tricep instead of 33/66. Your triceps are probably giving you that great bench then but I don't see why not also a great overhead.

Once it's past my nose, the bar always gets there, same on bench, once it's 2 inches off my chest it's locked out, triceps of fury.

I think my grip has been too narrow tbh, now that I've widened it a bit I feel it a lot more in my shoulders. Maybe I've just been tricep pressing for goodness knows how long :facepalm:

If you look through my blog, I do a lot of tricep work, nearly always bolted on the end of a workout there's tri work... from kickbacks to pulldowns to dips.

Tbh I love pressing movements, other than Tbar rows and deadlifts I can't think of a pulling motion I like! I love doing dips - such a boss of a movement

He's still massive then, I was reading through the "how much do you lift" thread - he eats 10k calories for maintenance... guys an animal with a 200kg bench that he doesn't train..

How come you know what he's up to.. is he on another fitness forum these days?

I have him on facebook from when he used to post on here a lot.

Guessing he stills posts on some other forums but not on any others that i am on tbh.

He is fairly insanely strong but i also post on sugden and you have Terry Hollands and Eddie Hall and Tom Martin posting there so he'd be average over there. I'm one of the weakest guys there.
