In a study of 1,500 British Muslims, not a single one said they thought homesexuality was morally acceptable, and only 3% of them felt that sex outside of marriage was acceptable

Muslims seem to be to be in a similar place morally to where Christians were 200 years ago. If Muslims can progress in a similar way then I wouldn't have problem with them.

Having said that, Islam or more accurately, the Shariah regulates public behaviour so any outward manifestation of heterosexuality or homosexuality in a public sphere is dealt with by the state.

What one does in the privacy of their own, heterosexual or homosexual, is between an individual and God.

Is that "better"?
