Haha, I'm sure you'll be fine. I gather there is some unrest over your manager though? People don't seem happy.

Hopefully you'll stay up.

Yeah every time we win he plays the same team next game. So ridiculous.

I want Houghton back!

I really hope so :'(

I will hunt you down if we go down as a result!!!!!

I'll join you we can make him pay  Small Heath Rifles haven't lost yet!

Don't think we'll go down tho tbf, although Novak's injury is worrying. Another frustrating defeat but Huw's goal was another blinder. KRO
Who'd have thought that a 1-0 win against Crawley Town could make me so happy? Rotherham's loss to Sheffield United means we only need 7 points from the next 5 games for automatic promotion. Even I think that's feasible from Swindon, MK Dons, Preston, Colchester and Stevenage.

It's. So. Close.

Who do you support out of interest?

Also, a win against Nuneaton this weekend would take mean we definitely won't get relegated, what a depressing season.

Sorry I keep assuming it's obvious from context. Brentford.

And yourself? Nuneaton my local non league side, no idea how they've done so well this season.

Wrexham, I'm not sure what it is about the Conference but teams can do bagly (or well) one year and do very well (or badly) the next. Like Newport came 19th in the 2011-12 season and then got promoted the next. Mad.
Wrexham if they're playing Nuneaton this weekend. I have a real soft spot for Wrexham.

At one point I was genuinely considering the prospect of derbies with Nuneaton in League 2 next season. Shame that Andy Morrell didn't work out as manager at Wrexham, always worked hard in a City shirt.

Yeah I know, it's just one of those things where it's better to part ways but in all fairness to him, he did very well in the last season, FA Trophy winners and final of the play offs.

Is there any appetite at Wrexham to go into the Welsh league system?

Not particularly, it's a lot more competitive and there's more opportunities in the English leagues. I mean I'm all for supporting the Welsh league system but I don't think it would benefit Wrexham to go into it.

Even with European football so easily available?
8 points from relegation zone. Still have Blackpool, Barnsley, Forest, Birmingham & Derby to play.

Need to get 2 wins, confirm safety. Write this season off, get rid of the deadweight uncommitted players in the Summer, Give McDermott some cash, rebuild. Fight for promotion.

Cellino supposedly overheard at VR last night calling McDermott a clown, then turned to Watford fans and said how jealous he is of Watford having Sannino. Was posted on a Watford forum so not sure how true it is, but sounds like BMD's a dead man walking.

Seems to be mixed reactions about Cellino's attitude to McDermott. In an interview with BBC Look North, he said he likes Brian & would like to see him fulfill his contract.

Leeds have debts of £30mil, the Board of Directors decided to award themselves a 140% pay rise. Yes, 140%. I didn't accidentally leave out a decimal point. They now get over £800,000 a year each. That is complete robbery of the fans. We keep getting our lowest attendance for the season every week. It was only 17,500 against Charlton.

We're all fed up & just want the season to end.

Apologies if this has already been discussed and I missed it, but what does everyone make about the 7 players arrested / questioned for spot fixing? http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lancashire-26887860
From a York point of view, it's a real beep that Ben Davies is involved. Class player with a great future - I'd hope it's a case of mistaken identity / just trying to eliminate him from their suspects - to get involved with something like that at his age with a good career ahead of him is just utterly stupid
