AQA :frown: I'm currently doing it for AS Physics - the endorsed textbook is so hard to understand

How does it compare to OCR A though?

I don't know anyone who does OCR A Physics D: Sorry! But AQA is hell, take it from me - we have to do an ISA and the grade boundaries are RIDICULOUS!
OCR B is definitely the hardest. The amount of irrelevant crap they put in the G491 paper shouldn't be allowed.

The coursework is okay though :s-smilie:

Use the purple AQA student books by CGP, they're really good.

OCR B isn't the hardest, it's just ****.

I don't know which one is the hardest but Edexcel is definitely harder than AQA. In AQA you have so much content that is similar to content covered in the M1 and M2 Maths modules.

Edexcel.

Last year you only needed 50% in both unit 1 and unit 2 AS for an A.

OCR B textbook, FML it's just a story book.

OCR B is slightly badly structured but I mean AQA is a bit complex at times.

I did OCR A.

IMO AQA is the hardest. None of them are really that hard though.

It's full of crap, I feel like I will never be prepared for G491. :frown: G492 is somewhat okay once you get used to their dodgy way of setting questions.

Yes, If your school cheats...

Nuffield is the hardest - but basically nobody is crazy enough to take their exams with the far easier alternatives available.

is there much difference between ocr a and aqa?

What Uni do you go to and what are you studying by the way?
AQA B because it's full of irrelevant stuff and there's hardly much revision material for it apart from its textbook from the examiners of this board but there are many errors in it. It's not much maths-y and for me I found this a disadvantage because explaining things is my weakest point and I generally liked doing calculations more. In others words AQA B is wiffly waffly crap - avoid it at all costs.

I've had to change sixth form because of this exam board and now I am restarting again. I am now doing GCE Physics WJEC which is much nicer imo

AQA has some bits that are slightly more complex.

I'm on my gap year, I'll start Phys NatSci at Cambridge in October.
Edexcel physics!
