Hello :smile:,

I currently live in opal court and the difference is in standard + is a single bed and premium + is a double bed. The room aren't huge. I'd say the standard is 15m2 and the premium 20m2 but you do have to consider a large chunk is taken up by the bathroom. The kitchens also aren't the biggest depending on which room you have. And just to let you know, opal has only a few freshers as the large majority of residents are mature or post graduate student so massive amounts of noise aren't tolerated.

I'm really lucky because a friend of mine is going to Leicester as well, so I won't be completely alone! I'm sure you'll make friends though, everyone does, and I'll make sure to smile if we see each other haha :smile:

how long did it take people to receive offers for their chosen halls, I applied about 5 days ago :biggrin: First choice Jofo, 2nd - Beaumont
