I'll be applying for an MSc Finance for Fall 2015 once I find out my GMAT scores after this summer so I've done some research on the units in UK as well as Europe
Non UK targets (this is all imo). Also these are all pre-experience masters
Tier 1 (in no order):
Bocconi
HEC
SSE
RSM
Tier 2 (in no order):
ESSEC
EDHEC
CBS
Mannheim
ESADE
Tier 3 (in no order):
Maastricht
Vlerick
Grenoble
BI
These are all the schools I've been looking at outside UK. Also I'm Belgian and doing undergrad here currently, so I can tell you that Solvay Finance masters is only for people with experience already and it's not credited by CFA. If you had to choose between Vlerick and Solvay for Finance, Vlerick is much better (only for finance, for management or marketing Solvay is good). Also, although Vlerick is very reputable and good for finance, I wouldn't put it up there with tier 1 or 2 schools.
