Guys would you date a plus size girl?

A lot of these guys are in total denial that a lot of girls just aren't into big muscles.
Nope; being over-weight is unattractive - it also shows you don't know how to take care of your body.
From reading through all of that, it really seems that a lot of you have a really skewed view of what "plus size" actually is.

As is what keeps being said, a size 12/14/16 girl will be reading through all the comments thinking "My size isn't attractive, I'm not attractive" - incredibly damaging. Your body is only one part of you.

To put it in perspective;

Also thought this was an interesting photo to illustrate how height and weight distribution makes a difference. Even though they're different sizes, they look equally slender;

First one looks too skinny for my liking, she needs some muscle to look healthy but the body fat % is in the right place.

Second one needs bigger boobs to carry herself better, flat chested girls should be really skinny or they look ridiculous.

Flat chested?? Well, there's not much she can do about it really...

Bingo.

Though you can't really consider 12-14 "plus size" can you?

True, but most "plus size" models are actually a size 12-14...Seriously, it's ridiculous. If they are plus size then I'm officially doomed!

I'm feelin' your virtual high five :wink:
Then they're part of the minority that see it as a negative trait (notice I didn't say all women are into it, just not many see it as a bad thing). And yeah sure all guys who gym are roidheads. :rolleyes:
Depends

What you are posting is the best of those sizes - the majority of people in those sizes aren't necessarily just there because they have wide hips and a big bust, just like the last picture shows size 8, 10 and 12 all equally proportional, but with increasing height and maintaining the hourglass figure. In real life, people actually do have fat and the average size 14 person doesn't look like the girls in those pictures.
No way would I date a plus size girl. But that's simply because I'm toned and fairly skinny and not attracted to larger girls...

You get annoyed when someone stereotypes men who go to the gym but you mock larger women (and anyone over a size 10) and that's fine

^ This.

How can you repeatedly make generalisations about women and what people find attractive and then comment when someone makes a generalisation about gym-goers? :curious:

Because only his preferences count :rolleyes: guys like him piss me off :angry:
Well given a plus size model is someone who is considered fat by the fasion industry, which basically is everyone with the exception of the skeletons the British Museum puts on display.

Yes I would date a plus size girl because the phrase is completely ****ing meaningless.

And "in real life" women also have spots and cellulite and scars and thinning hair and wrinckles and on and on and on. The best of people is what is always presented to us to be the ideal or to be the most feminine.

A 'normal' woman doesn't look like any girls in any size 4-10 media/modelling photos either but I bet the stick thin, perfect girl portrayed in those photos is what lots of people in this thread base what they find attractive on those types of girls.

I take your point but why shouldn't I use models to illustrate my point? It is models that most of those in this thread, who seem disgusted by the concept of a plus sized girl, base what they find attractive on.

Mocking is not refusing to be attracted to someone.
Plus it's interesting how you only jump on stereotypes that disagree with your POV.
