How to make money and live the high life?

Spent the day walking around London in places like Bank and I'm mystified at how filthy rich everyone appears to be and esp as they all look so young. How do I get this lifestyle??!

Ha! Is your 'daddy' an overprivileged white business tycoon with too many wrinkly fingers in crummy capitalist pies? Cos that's how it happens (I think, I might just be hating the right-wing of this world for no good reason now...)
Family wealth, I guess this isn't an option
Very good at sport
Get to the top of a good career
Good in a casino
good at crime, not an advised route.

Seems somewhat like a bit of a troll post though, tbh.

It's not a troll. I am just so curious how people end up living the high life and I want to do something about it but don't know how.

Fair enough, it does ultimately come down to being born into it, knowing the right people, or being good enough at the right things (such as sport, financial services, certain gambling, business etc)

Today it was the investment bankers that shocked me because they all seem so young. I'm not so in awe of people with inheritance or people with a natural talent like sport but with these people I wonder how with it being such a competitive field they managed to get a job on Central London. I'm so jealous !

Coming from a wealthy background with connections due to family, education (more of a thing with private than state education), more upper class hobbies such those relating to horses etc help a lot. Just because they're bankers doesn't mean they came from nothing/little.

Judging by their extravagant lifestyles financed directly by their hard work and commitment I would imagine them to be yes.

By the time you've got round to earning the money they were born into you'll be a husk of your former self and you'll have gone grey and wrinkly from the stress, you'll have sold your best years for a pot of gold you're too old to enjoy. Settle into your allotted class and go for social dominance within that community. Bank is for bankers. You may be more of a Collier's Wood.

You know, it really isn't that difficult to appear filthy rich.

Well you're probably about 20 already and you haven't gone to the right schools and the right university courses and done the right internships at daddy's bank, it'll take you ten years and an MBA to even have a chance of breaking into the industry. By that point you won't be a kid any more, the biological clock will be ticking and you'll be motivated by deeper stuff than money. There's a reason they nab these investment bankers young you know, they're the only age stupid enough to care.
Aren't you a medic? you're pretty much set I'd think
