I remember someone said earlier in this thread carzola can't score free kicks like juan mata, well now you see, he clearly can.

Sanogo shown he has potential in this match

I think Welbeck can still improve but he'll never be United quality for me. I don't know about Sanogo. Hasn't really seen what his finishing is like - all about goals at the end of the day.

He gets in good positions though, and as with Ramsey finishing can suddenly come on leaps and bounds. Not saying he'll be WC or anything, just that he's very raw atm and I can see some potential there.
I've completely forgotten about my education today...

ARGGH, **** this Arsenal v Chelsea ****. Either way, we won and it's OUR day, if you are an opposition fan and are going to be a ****, please don't.

Meh, let Chelsea fans continue with their butthurt comments. It just irks them that their great one failed ironically on the season where he belittles our manager.

You can see the potential in Sanogo though, Welbeck seems to me to be as good as he'll ever get. Both are system players I reckon though.

I don't know, both just seem as limited with 2 left feet as each other. What I would say is that Sanogo probably has more pace to his game and it can be true that he's going through a writers block sort of thing (given what I saw in the u20s, I don't think it is). I was hoping to watch him in the Toulon tournament but he wasn't picked for it.

I think Sanogo has the ability and great potential but he needs to work on his intelligence. His decision making is very poor and he doesn't capitalise on his strengths when in key positions.

I feel you. So worth it now though. The manner if victory too, what a day

Well done, you made a hash of it at the start but after the equaliser you had it.

Still, it's no CL and it was funny seeing you celebrate it like it was.

Still better than this though:

Exactly, and imagine how hard it would have been to revise if things went wrong! Like you said all worth it in the end

Is anyone going to the victory parade in Islington tomorrow?

Haha glad I'm not the only one! Yeah exactly how I feel, was most definitely worth it. It's been 9years c'mon!?
It all seems a bit surreal still. I really do hope Arsenal push on from here, we're making good progress.

this, he ends up getting himself in awkward positions before either getting half tackled where he scrambles(?) (might be intentional lol) the ball away, usually not too badly either or he gets a half shot on goal where he was pretty close twice today.

I liked him today because he tried to knock the ball past players occasionally whereas Giroud just leans on defenders which I don't expect any less tbh, not enough pace to mug off defenders. Rosicky and Wilshere coming on were perfect subs too, could have done it a bit earlier though.

Really has not sunk in
Were you watching the same Yaya Sanogo I was? He looks unbelievably clumsy with the ball, I believe the term is 'lumbering oaf'. Terrible decision making and can't dribble at all. But, he's big and black and reasonably quick (not a terrible shot on him either), so I can understand if he can eventually become good... world class? Absolutely no chance.

Very reminiscent of Welbeck, but Welbeck can actually dribble but not finish... whereas Sanogo has shown a decent shot, but looks more likely to fall over than move forward
