"Don't relax"? Chill man, treat yourself to some relaxation at least. Prepare for the BMAT exam? That's miles away!

No you should relax and socialise. Anyone who's preparing for AS content is condemning themselves to ignorance - it is always best to learn the teachers' methods before consolidating what you need to do elsewhere. Sure, you can read it out of curiosity, but learning it to a facilitating state at this point in time is pointless. You realise that if you spend it preparing for exams, you will have dropped your only break between the next two years of intense work.

Good point o.O I hadn't considered it in that aspect.

Have a little look over AS content and maybe familiarise yourself with the exam layout so that you feel more comfortable when you begin in September, but spend the majority of the time relaxing.
I'm in your situation and I'm doing number 2. Im guessing you want to do medicine at Oxford or Cambridge so you need to start working early to get the top grades .

I have around 10 weeks off - 8 of those are where I'm not on holiday. Should I 1)Learn the content for AS exams. 2)Prepare for the BMAT exam. 3)A mixture of 1 and 2. 4)Relax - it's the summer holidays.

I'm going to try and self teach all of c1 for AS maths haha I just think if you have the time then you might as well )

I'd do all of them but spend the majority of your time relaxing  I usually skip between AS content, teaching myself more chinese and relaxing aswell. Obviously this Year 11 summer is going to be the last time you have this much free time so use it wisely and relax well before you start sixth form  Or at least that's what I plan to do
Relaxing? What's that? XD

I have serious social anxiety issues and am basically a prisoner in my bedroom I'm just too afraid to ask anyone to do things and don't have any real friends that I talk to outside of school, so I have so much free time that I might as well use it productively... It's sad I know but it's what I'm used to

Random question but anyone have an idea on the grade boundaries for the gcse AQA C2 exam...like how hard did you find it ?

I used to think this about myself too about a year ago, then I woke the **** up.

Social anxiety disorder is a real thing, you can't just dismiss medical issue like that. If you don't accept that, you're the one who needs to wake the **** up.
Relax- go out with your friends! I always lose motivation if I work myself too hard. If you have a few weeks of chill time at least I'm sure you'll work harder later.
By- if you feel socially anxious then maybe try and get out, build up your confidence. A good doctor needs to have the ability to speak to people, right?

I'm trying hard to be more social like I go cadets and starting volunteering for a charity shop on Saturdays but I find myself being so relieved when I get to leave both of these like I'm kinda forcing myself to not quit for the sake of having something to say on my cv/ personal statement...

There are a couple of threads going on about AQA Sciences.

And you could possibly check last years boundaries and the year before to get an approximation of the grade boundaries

Thanks and yeh I'm pretty sure I suffer from it, the last time I did something with friends outside of school was over 6 months ago and that time was the first time in over a year ;(

I don't believe that social anxiety disorders exist in their own respect like that - they are just mindsets drawn from memories. If you took a person and wiped their social memory, I believe they would act totally different in social situations. I believe this because I used to think that I had some kind of disorder like autism/asperges or depression - then I finally realised that it was just me being antisocial and letting other people intimidate me.

If many people have similar feelings and experiences then surely you can class it an a disorder ?
