Ok so we're all going to be living and maybe socialising together so I thought it would be good for us to get a thread going and introduce ourselves!

Nothing wrong with getting to know each other a bit so that first day or two isn't so daunting 😊.

Nice to meet you Rachel... I have no idea what a Mormon is but then religion hasn't been my thing since secondary school lol

I'll be staying at QM! I'm Z. I'm from Craven, in North Yorkshire (there aren't really any towns close by so it's hard to describe where I live). I'll be studying Geography, hopefully with Earth Science and Sociology as my other subjects. :smile:

Probably a bit early to ask, but as our contract starts on the 12h September, will people be moving in on that date or waiting to move in when freshers starts?

I'm actually moving in on the 6th September because that's when I could find the cheapest flight and International Student Orientation is the week before freshers, so I assume I'll be a little lonely in my flat that first week haha

I'll be going up on the 11th and moving in on the 12th... Should be staying with family the night before to make it easier. Doubt I could get from London to Glasgow early enough to move in with everyone else!

aww, well at least you'll get to know the city and will be able to choose your kitchen cupboard first :tongue:

I'm glad that other people will be there whenI move in though, as that's the only day my dad can be off work to take me.
