Can you go through an example for break even formula please!

Let's say that fixed costs for a business are £2,400,000 per year.

They sell their product at £300 per item and the Variable cost is £140 per item. In order to calculate the Break even point we would:

1) Subtract the Variable Cost from Price

300-140=160

2) Divide the Fixed Cost by your result

2,400,000 / 160 = 15,000

This particular business would have to sell 15,000 products in a year to break even.

Does that help?

Bus studies? The examiners love questions on delays at the bus stop, but bus lanes have not come up in a while so watch out for that.

Sometimes they do, it's pretty much impossible to know what'll come up. It's best to revise all topics

Yeah, my teacher reckons there will be some maths-based questions as there were none last year and none in unit 1

what is quality culture?

Checking quality after each stage in the production process rather than just at the end.
