Djokovic's destiny will be in his hands on Sunday - can he get it done?

If he wins 1st then yes:frown:
He wont be able to , Nadal is unbeatable on clay.
been a while a GS match between Murray and Nadal :excited:

technically, Nadal's unbeatable at Roland Garros - he can be beaten at all other clay tournaments

has Rafa come back from a set down against Novak in a grand slam to win before? I'll just check

Edit: Wimbledon 2007 - where Novak retired after 2nd set, otherwise no

He really isn't. I positively hate it when people say that because it becomes very much a self-fulfilling prophecy. How many times have we seen players get ahead against Nadal on clay only to crumble mentally just before they reach the finishing line? A lot of it is to do with Nadal, but a lot of it is also to do with them being told for the past eight years than Nadal is invincible on this surface.

Thankfully though Djokovic isn't so feeble-minded:

Great. It's john inverdale for the next 4 years on itv. Brilliant.

I feel like the commentators are making excuses for murray so far e.g the sun is in his eyes etc etc when nadal can cope with it fine?

Murray making cheap errors while Nadal is looking very sharp. Could be over in a blink of the eye

They often do. Nothing compares to BBC F1 coverage when Jake was there though, complete Mclaren obsession.
