Ive read that Bergkamp considered him a complete and utter chav and had to try very hard to avoid socialising with him when he first arrived.

I remember you saying this. Are Moroccans in Holland quite chavvy? From what I've heard a lot of Dutch people don't like them.

To give the brutally honest, non-PC answer, they are definitely disproportionately represented in crime and the educational achievement is really poor on average(massive youth unemployment). Dutch people are quite reserved and stoic so they dont appreciate some of the general aggressiveness etc of Morrocan youths either. Also unresolved cultural differences with Islam of course. Then you have language issues as well, this is not the fault of the guys though since their parents had often non-existent Dutch skills, but the result is an accent often which is unemployable and basically chav yeah. RVP speaks something like this, which is bizarre since he his parents speak fluently and there's no reason for him to speak like that.

So if a Morrocan moved next door, most people will see what he's like and have no issues at all if he acted normally, but loads would be pretty nervous about it tbh.

I read that despite his chavvy Moroccan accent, RVP scored 26 goals and fired Man United to the PL title.

Obviously this has nothing to do with Walcott's revelations.

Why did we sell Gervinho when we did? Surely we should have been a little more patient.

Gervinho is a confidence player, if you don't give him that you won't see the best of him. But let's not forget that this guy was pretty rubbish for us.

:yy:

He can start smoking hash for all I care, as long as he scores his goals.

Aurier looks like a glorified Eboue to me, great and effective going forward but suspect defensively. His pace seems to get him out of trouble a lot of the time.

RVP stuff honestly doesn't even surprise me.

He's got pace and a big forehead - and that's it.

Offensively Ivory Coast switch to 3-5-2 then revert to a 4-4-2 when defending. So He's playing as a defacto wing back really. His been given license to attack whilst in defence he's covered by Zokora.
