Teaching English abroad - how to get a qualification?

Does anybody know roughly how much it costs to get a CELTA or TEFL qually?

I'm going to do a TESOL course, during or after my English degree, which costs about £1000 and runs for 6 months

Some courses offer it along with other languages.

I don't have an English degree, although my degree was in Film and TV with English.

Do you think any degree would enable me to enrol?

So I could study maybe Korean or Mandarin alongside the TESOL courses? Do you know roughly how much this costs?

I don't, sorry. But I would think those two languages would go along with the qualification at some unis. I saw one that offered Italian and TEFL and the TEFL course was discounted.

Edit: A quick search shows Exeter and Manchester Met offer these.

I don't think you need an English degree, I'm doing it because I need a degree to get a work visa for where I want to go.

You do need a very good understanding of English, like grammar etc.

That's no problem for me, I read The Telegraph.
