Invent something.

Marry an old rich farmer with a lot of land to his name. Have his children, then when he pegs it, you get the lot. Only works if he's near death's door. It's what my mum did and we're millions now but only because of her looks. He was a nice man and I miss him though!

Okay okay. Of course one would have a method of turning millions into billions. On a more serious note, there are probably a million ways to become a millionaire. :smile:

My general tips would therefore be to:

See every minute detail of your work;
Never give up;
Avoid taking shortcuts (There are no shortcuts);
Try not to get over-confident with success;
Never hesitate to ask for help;
You are who you associate with (collaboration is key);
Get into a business where you can be a big fish (An area where you can make a difference);
Keep things simple or at least make your product simple. (The reason why games such as Call of Duty have lost popularity over the past few years is because they've made the multiplayer so goddam complicated);
Time is of the essence, every second you live is defining you;
Embrace criticism;
Chase meaning rather than avoid discomfort;
If you're not being told 'no' you're not pushing yourself hard enough;
Learn to say 'no' and focus on what you do best;
