Feminists trying to ban golf tees

Anyone ever felt the urge to rape after seeing a crude depiction of a naked woman? Nope, me neither.

Golf must be going downhill, I didn't know Dunlop were in the business of making clothes pegs now.

It looks like the depiction of a naked woman much in the same way that Jesus appears on toast every now and again. Yeah, you can see it when it's pointed out to you, but if the first thought upon seeing it "OMG THAT LOOKS LIKE A DECAPITATED NAKED WOMAN!" then you have some deeper issues to work out instead of worrying whether or not you'll be under par by the 15th.
Another bunch of crazy feminists, missing the point of a crude joke. This just reinforces that some members of the feminist movement have lost their way and forgotten what feminism really stands for.
Where's the petition to stop penis shaped lollipops? It gives women an unrealistic expectation on how my penis should taste like cherries
Well they are going to have to give up their novelty willies that they play with on hen nights. Humans have always liked cracking crude, base jokes about each other's sexual organs because we are fascinated by fertility. It's formed the basis of countless artworks, fetishes, graffiti, pornography and full-blown mystery cults down the ages and we are no different today than, say, the Romans were with it all.

It is ridiculous to attempt to outright ban them, but honestly - why would a company even make golf tees that shape in the first place?
Your title is misleading and makes feminists sound much, much more crazy than this campaign actually shows them to be.

I'm sorry, but it's completely preposterous to suggest that this product "trivialises abuse". It's also flagrant sensationalism to say it's a "decapitated" woman's body, she is welcome to try balancing a golf ball on top of a round tee... I certainly don't have a hidden desire to decapitate women, I think someone's been watching a bit too much Serbian Film

Yes, but it's even more completely preposterous to suggest that golf tees in general are somehow objectionable or sexist, which is what the OP's title suggests that feminists are suggesting.

Oh OK fair enough

I think what the OP is trying to say is that feminists will complain about literally anything and are fighting a battle for equality that was won over 50 years ago.
Well seeing as she's applying that logic maybe she'd like to campaign against dildos, vibrators and sex toys too. They give an unrealistic perception of what male genitalia is like which objectifies and demeans men. BUT NO! Double standards, classic modern day feminism. Always the victim.
I admit it does look like you're hitting the head off a women when you tee off with one of these, but I wouldn't have cared if there was a male version. It would be strange if these were sold in normal shops though. I've seen seaside/holiday shops which sell small model teddy bears performing silly sexual activities like using a hoover for a blowjob or putting it's penis a hotdog roll.

It sounds like they're going for their persecution complex approaches here.

Amen, evolution hath not produced clitoral stimulation "ears", nor is the average male penis 9" in length. I say ban these unrealistic male genitalia with all due haste!

She claims similar products have a "huge impact" on the abuse of women.

Such is one of the great issues with radical feminism at the moment. They like to make massive assertions without any evidence to back them up. :colonhash:

It's merely a gimmicky item aimed at producing a few laughs, not part of some evil plan to turn men against women.
