Worst Accents?
Ok so seeing as there is a "Sexist Accents" topic (of which i've posted in), i thought i'd go the other way and create one for the worst accents or "Turn off Accents"
Me:
German
Russian
Typical American
Redneck American
Greek
Ukraine
As you can see most of them (for me at least) are mainly very punchy, sharp sometimes angry languages, i've always said that even if you're complimenting someone in German, it sounds like you're insulting them cos of the brutality of the words compared to those of Italian, French or Spanish

How can you not love how German compliments sound?

I know what you mean though, ahah... American accents and most of the others you've mentioned are 'annoying'.
Accents are lovely though, they make people unique

Oh i know it's what makes people themselves, but still just as people are attracted to different physical traits, people are attracted to certain accents (although for the most part it's Italian and Spanish)

I find the polish accent quite unattractive, but that may be because most of the polish women i've met were unattractive and I just associate the accent with them.
Welsh, German, Nigerian, Really Really deep south American
American accents really distract me.. I just can't pay attention.

LIVERPOOL and GEORDIE..
The latter has been epotimised by Cheryl Chav Cole..
American, liverpool, geordie, essex accent even though i go to college in essex and anything up north of london except scotland

Ahh I love the German and Russian accents, particularly Russian :O
But agreed so much with typical American. And the like Texan accent, urgh
