Cheapest deal I've seen around my area, but is that a good car to buy though?

sorry but cars 1.4 and over are a bit too thirsty for me:frown:

It doesn't really make that much difference... It's about how you drive.

I drive a 3 litre petrol BMW so don't talk to me about 1.4s being thirsty haha.

Get a diesel if you want fuel efficiency you should be able to afford a diesel focus at that price.

DOnt even know why Im even entertaining a response.... Any way, have you heard of freaking hybrids?

Or the new VW's? The bluemotion golf 1.6 TDI is the most fuel efficient vehicle on the market (running on diesel/petrol/hybrid fuel)

I'm not after fuel efficiency just cheaper fuel basically, diesel is more expensive than petrol and those cars are more expensive to service.

Diesel is more expensive to buy but works out cheaper to run you'll go a lot further on a litre of diesel than petrol. Hence why people buy diesels...

diesel cars are more expensive and cost more to service, less fuel gets used but its more expensive than petrol. understand?

You make up the difference in fuel saved. My mums clio gets 70MPG. 70!!!

The fuel is more expensive but you'll go a lot further on it. Say £10 gets you 60 miles in a petrol. That can probably get you 90 miles in a diesel.

You have to do a lot of miles to make up the extra cost of buying the diesel engine in new cars but in second hand cars the difference isn't big. You'll easily save more in fuel than the extra cost.
Diesels also hold their value longer and should be easier to sell. The servicing costs should be the same and the road tax will be lower most of the time.

For example on the Corsa i linked. The diesel is £70 a year cheaper to tax and gets an extra 20MPG

facetious much?
you implied you dont care how efficient the fuel is, just the cost per litre. this is a ridiculous stance.
example - a new fuel costs £100/litre but has an infinite mpg. what you said implies you would get a petrol car because it has cheaper fuel. a nonsense argument...

Next MOT is in October... Not long to go, and sounds as if the car is already on the verge of falling apart. If I were you, I would get look at a car with at least 12 months MOT.

Those are the best that I can find around my area, camoxide which ones do you think are worth it?
1. Automatic
2. Old Fiesta, get a newer one
3. Unreliable
4. Unreliable
5 Seems okay
6 Still seems expensive for a Corsa.

You can't only be willing to travel 5 miles to get a car... You've got to go far to get a good deal. I traveled 150 miles to get my current car.

Yeah, it really depends on the area. That's quite cheap for my area as well considering the low milage. The only issue I have, is it hasn't got a full service history (unless I skipped that in the long description) I'd rather go for one with a full service history tbh.

114,000 miles for the Corsa seems a bit much though, :/ I wouldn't really want to go above 80000

It's a diesel.

Plus buy on condition not millage.
