Haha. Be yourself, friendly, and approachable. Go on lots of nights out, particularly in freshers. Helps if there are lots of women on your course. I met my girlfriend early on in mine, so didn't do much of that if I'm totally honest.
EDIT: one night stands, that is.

Go out and make and effort to approach women, defo lower standerds if you really want to get laid.
