I understand now why Peter Pan didn't want to grow up. I'm not gay btw, but I have been hurt in relationships :tongue:

Depends on the characters. I have to integrate myself within Aiden (my main character) and learn how to express his experiences that I fictionally have written (though my experiences in the past have influence into this). It's hard to write your first :biggrin:

But seriously though, people do their best work when they have strong emotions. I've done it before when I was hugely depressed. Haven't been able to match it since then and I was only 14 at the time :redface:
