Tbh that's very unfair. Messi hasn't lit up the tournament but he had a decisive influence in Argentina reaching the final.
I find it ridiculous that you apparently have to win a World Cup to be the GOAT. Does that mean if you don't come from one of the powerhouse nations, you can't ever be the GOAT? For example, a player like Bale just because he's Welsh?
Especially because the quality of the World Cup is very low. Second rate tournament. Means everything to players and fans but means nothing football wise.

He could have just chose to play for Spain and won the World Cup. Does it make him an any better player? Not really
In fairness he was almost 2.5k up on his 0-0 cash out in-play, which was unfortunate that he didn't let run, but it was the safe option.
Anyway smaller stakes but my double came through, Holland to win in 90 and Germany to lift the cup, fiver returns a little over 25. Then under 1.5 goals a bit of return too. So a good last two days, bout 70 quid up.
